Atop Telegraph Hill is the 210-foot Coit Tower, built by philanthropist Lillie Hitchcock Coit for the beautification of San Fran. The views of the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, and Fisherman's Wharf are spectacular. Leashed dogs are allowed on the grounds and walking areas, but not in the buildings.
