This unique Historic site is an intriguing educational destination. Exhibits detail the history of the French and Paleoeskimo activity in the area. The Soapstone Quarry’s story started approximately 1,600 years ago! Leashed pets are welcome on the interpretive trails and grounds but are not permitted inside buildings.
