Visit the 6,800 acre grounds that surround Fermilab. There are many recreational activities available, including biking, hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing, rollerblading, canoeing and ice skating. You can go bird watching, or visit the resident buffalo herd. There is a designated off-leash area for your dog, but when outside that area they will have to be leashed. Dogs are not allowed in the buildings.
