The gardens surrounding this magnificent 88,000-square-foot, Tudor-revival style mansion are spectacular. Largely the work of Arthur Davidson, an English landscape architect, who was commissioned in 1928 to create the master plan for the estate, there are 14 gardens and 42 urns surrounding the Hall. The Hall and gardens are located on the campus of Oakland University. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome on the grounds and the campus, but not in the buildings.
