Rent a houseboat and explore the greatest system of interconnected waterways on earth, where no roads can be found. Pets are allowed aboard the houseboats for an additional $50 charge, per pet. Note that within Voyageurs National Park pets are allowed only in the developed areas (around visitor centers, boat ramps, picnic areas, campsites and houseboat sites). Pets are not allowed on the park trails.
