Encompassing 579 acres, this historic site preserves a number of historic structures, including the Boone House, six other 18th century structures, a lake where fising is permitted, picnic areas, and a variety of walking / hiking trails. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome on the grounds, but not in the buildings.
