This is an unusual park, in that it consists of twenty-four communities and hundreds of historic and natural attractions. Many events take place in the Valley, in addition there are opportunities for sightseeing, hiking boating, bicycling, fishing and other activities. Check the website or with the Visitor's Center for schedules. Well behaved, leashed pets are allowed on the grounds, but not in the buildings.
