This downtown shopping district offers an eclectic range of dining, shopping, recreation, and entertainment. You'll find more than 70 restaurants, bars and clubs, and 45 shops located in buildings dating from the 1700's to 2007. Located along the only metorpolitan whitewater river in the country, you can stoll the cobblestone streets, enjoy the many events and festivals, and walk the canal trail. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome to explore the area with you. Pets are not allowed inside the buildings or in the plaza area during large events.
