At the northern end of Carolina Beach, you'll find Freeman Park. People camp and drive on this beach. Dogs are also allowed there.
From April 1st to September 30th, dogs must be on leash at all times. From October 1st to March 31, your dog may play off-leash as long as they are under your voice control and don't roam too far away.
