Dogs only! Dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed on the beach, access in undeveloped areas only. Dogs are not permitted in camping, bathing and picnic areas, in buildings or on walkways. Directions: At the end of the Heckscher State Pkwy, 50 miles from Manhattan on the south shore of LI, within the East Islip/Great River Area in Suffolk County.
