This dog park is on the grounds of the county run animal shelter, but is open to the public, free of charge. It has a common entry area that is fenced, then a section for small dogs and a section for large dogs. Both have pumps and water bowls, and plenty of balls and toys. The grassy area can get muddy, but the right footwear solves that problem easily. We just keep a towel in the trunk to clean off with afterwards. It's kind of out of the way, so I rarely see other dogs there - so it's the perfect place to introduce a dog to off-leash behavior, as well as getting used to running around with dogs without it being overwhelming. ___________________________________________________________________ Prince William County Animal Shelter Dog Park Rules 1.
