Located in Land Between the Lakes national recreation area, this 750-acre preserve provides a window to the way the area looked before it was settled by pioneers. The painstaking restoration includes the re-introduction of bison, elk and prairie grasses. This is primarily a vehicle tour. As you will be driving through the bison and elks' habitat, you should remain in or very near your vehicle and your pet should be in your vehicle on on leash. Bison and elk have been known to charge.
