Michell Point Trailhead provides access to two trails that wind through Wygant State Natural Area: Wygant Trail starts on the west end of the parking lot and Michell Point Trail takes off from the east end.
Just a short walk from the parking lot you'll find stunning gorge views.
Wygant Trail is 8 miles out and back and it gains about 2,300 feet of elevation. Mitchell Point Trail is 2.6 miles up and back with an elevation gain around 1,300 feet.
