There are no more potent symbols of individual freedom than Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. You can visit both at this park, which includes three square blocks in the City of Philadelphia where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were written and the dream of a free country of independent citizens became fact.

Leashed pets are permitted in the park, through the security gate to the area behind Independence Hall, and to an area where you can see the Liberty Bell through the shaded glass windows. Pets are not allowed in the buildings. Leashes must be no longer than six feet.
