Set in the rolling hills, this 100-acre park offers two miles of nature trails, unique water features, butterfly gardens, and is home to the Wofford House, built in the 1800's, complete with period furnishings and a seasonal garden. Leashed pets are welcome on the grounds, and even have their own fountain. Pets are not allowed in the buildings.

Policy Details

While the arboretum is pet friendly, the City of Athens' leash law does apply, NO exceptions because the arboretum is inside the city limits and for the comfort and safety of other guests! Please keep your pets out of the garden areas and pick up after them in landscaped areas.
