Bear River State Park and Travel Information Center are located on the eastern edge of Evanston, just off I-80 at Exit 6. Bear River picnicking, hiking, bicycling, skiing, remote control cars and many other activities over its over 300 acres . The park is home to a small head of captive bison and elk kept for public viewing. Three miles of foot trails are within park limits.
