There’s no way to adequately describe the magnificence of the Grand Canyon. It may be American’s most famous natural attraction, stretching 277 river miles from Lees Ferry to the Grand Wash Cliffs. And the views are uniquely different each time you return.

But what makes the Grand Canyon truly special is how much of it you can experience with your dog. And that’s great. Because the canyon is the main attraction in the village. You don’t visit Grand Canyon Village to do anything besides hike the trails and enjoy beautiful views.

Things Not To Miss

Seeing the Grand Canyon with your pet will make your Arizona vacation truly unforgettable. Be sure to ask how your pup can become a BARK Ranger during your visit!

The South Rim of the canyon provides two main trails to explore with your pet—the Rim and Greenway trails.

Take advantage of the stunning views to have a picnic. You won’t find restaurants with pet friendly patio there. So you’ll have to provide your own.
