Set 16 miles from the heart of Durango, and only seven miles from the Vallectito Reservoir, you won't have any problem finding fun things to explore. During the winter we recommend using a 4x4 vehicle to access the home safely.

Vaulted wood-beamed ceilings and a wide-open floor plan let the abundance of light showcase all of the crafted wood accents. Cuddle up with a good book while the you listen to some vinyl tunes on the turntable. The private washer/dryer will take care of any laundry that you may have during your stay.

Step out on the deck with an ice-cold brew and kick back in the Adirondack chairs while you take in the tree-lined views.

While your guests lounge on the bar stools at the breakfast bar, you can get to work on dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. With stainless steel appliances, crafted counters, and a dishwasher to help with the cleanup, keeping everyone fueled up and on the go will be a breeze. After dinner head back out on the deck to watch the stars come out with an indulgent nightcap.

When it's time to turn in, this two-bedroom, one-bathroom home has room for up to four guests and one canine companion under 60 pounds (for a small nightly fee). On the main level you'll find the master bedroom with a queen-size bed waiting to lull you into a restful night of sleep. Upstairs in the large loft bedroom, there is another queen-size bed as well as a small sitting area.

Wake up with the warm sunshine and walk down to the small detached meditation studio to start your day. With the privacy of the forest as your backdrop, your time will be filled with peace and tranquility.

Spend a day exploring the picturesque trails that run through the San Juan National Forest. Then head over to the Vallectito Reservoir to kayak along the shores, or maybe cast a line in the Animas River to take some time to unwind.
