Leather sectional sofas, an ottoman, and overstuffed chairs are placed strategically around the large, open room. There is a rock-faced wood burning fireplace for chilly evenings, high-speed internet, a flat screen TV with cable for watching DVDs, and stylish berber carpet on the floor. Track lighting provides a soft ambiance for settling back and enjoying this homey space. Great views of the outside can be had from any seat and there is a large glass door leading out to the deck.

Loaded with country-chic charm, the open kitchen boasts hardwood floors, granite countertops, and a unique tile backsplash. All the expected appliances are at your disposable for endless culinary escapades, including a dishwasher. Once dinner is ready, the large wooden dining table has seating for the whole group with chairs and a wall mounted bench. An iron chandelier hangs over the table for a little rustic ambiance. You'll definitely be inspired by this space to start the mornings off right with a hearty homemade breakfast -- perhaps huckleberry pancakes, maple syrup, and crisp bacon before heading down to the lake?

Rain or shine, the covered back patio is also a very tempting option for enjoying meals! Head out through the glass door off the living room and you'll be rewarded with sweeping views and comfortable patio furniture. Throw some fresh fish on the gas grill for a special dinner surrounded by the great outdoors; after dinner, it's a short walk off the deck to the tree-lined stone steps down to the dock.

In the evenings, you'll have three bedrooms and a comfortable loft to choose from. On the lower level, the first bedroom contains a queen-size bed with decorative wood frame. The ceiling has more wood beams, while big picture windows let in lots of bright light and display additional lake views. Antique wood furniture, including a dresser with attached oval mirror, and blue accent colors give this room a cozy, laid-back vibe. A full bathroom with a custom river rock tile floor, large walk-in shower with an attractive mosaic design, and beautiful accents is just across the hallway.

Also downstairs is a great kids' room designed with fun in mind! Three sets of twin bunk beds with bright bedding create a slumber-party atmosphere that will make it no problem at all to get the younger ones off to bed. This bedroom also has a door that leads outside to the patio, so it's an easy place to leave toys and outdoor gear. Rounding out the lower level is a utility room complete with washer and dryer.

Heading upstairs, you'll find the third bedroom, loft, and additional bathroom. Bright and airy, the loft has a queen bed, cushy couch seating, ceiling fans, a TV and DVD player, and a great selection of movies. Just pop some popcorn, get comfortable, and settle in for an entertaining movie night!

The upstairs bedroom has a quilt-covered queen-sized bed, plush carpeting, and unique slanted ceilings. A picture window looks right out over the lake and mountains and there is a small seating area with two over-stuffed chairs. A full bathroom on this level has paneled walls, patches of rock mosaic flooring, and a walk-in shower. With three bedrooms and two full baths, this house can comfortably sleep eight people. The family dog is also welcome to join you for your stay for an additional nightly fee.

In the summer, the lake is definitely the place to be! There's fishing, boating, kayaking and just think -- you'll have a front row spot for all the adventure. Golfing is less than 15 miles away on the other side of the lake at Tamarack Resort. If you're feeling a bit daring, you can even take a zipline tour of the area. Come wintertime, the Donnelly area transforms into a seasonal wonderland of skiing, sledding, sleigh rides, and snowmobiling.

There are a number of restaurant choices in town, but a little farther north in McCall, you'll find everything from microbrews and burgers at the McCall Brewing Company to upscale Italian outdoor dining at Romano's Ristorante. McCall also has plenty of shopping, galleries, and entertainment options, but before long you'll certainly want to head back to your wonderful lakefront getaway.
