Located on the north side of town, by the Agate Beach area, this home is just a block from easy beach access. Simply walk a block south and follow the nature trail to the sand, or you could drive a mile south to Agate Beach State Park and walk to the beach from there. You will also enjoy easy access to all the restaurants, shops, and activities in Newport with a quick drive a mile or two south through town.

This gorgeous home has an air of history (it was built in 1939), but is updated and has modern furnishings. With four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, up to eight guests will be very comfortable here. You are even welcome to bring up to two dogs with you, though an additional pet fee does apply.

Walk past the well-landscaped yard and garden, and step through the front door to find yourself in your temporary home. This main floor features a living room where you and your guests will love to sit and enjoy each other's company. Light a fire in the wood-burning fireplace to keep everyone extra cozy, and share stories in front of the flickering flames.

Out the window you can enjoy marvelous views of the ocean. With a flatscreen TV tucked into the corner, you can also watch cable, or bring along some movies and use the Blu-ray player. Select one of the provided board games and organize a family game night, or access the WiFi to stay connected during your vacation.

On the main level you will also find a full kitchen, equipped with all the necessary appliances and tools you may need to cook during your stay. Sit at the kitchen table and eat while gazing out the window at the ocean, or head into the attached dining room. With seating for eight, the dining room table is a perfect place to gather everyone and enjoy a nice meal together.

With a half-bathroom and a laundry room, the main floor of this three-level home is a great place for guests to spend time. Walk up the stairs to access the top level, where you will find three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and gorgeous ocean views. The second bedroom has a double bed and windows that allow calming views of the garden area. The third upstairs bedroom has a double bed, and a full bathroom on this floor means nobody has to stumble downstairs to use the restroom.

Descend the staircases to arrive at the bottom level of this home. This floor has its own living space, kitchen, and another full bathroom, so this would be a great way for a couple to enjoy their own space while everyone else is upstairs.

The final bedroom, with a large bed, is located on this lower level. You will also find another laundry room, as well as a full kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave, so you will have no trouble preparing meals here! A family room has plenty of seating, another flatscreen TV, and a sliding door with access to the patio and lower yard.

Sit on the patio or roam the yard area and breathe in the fresh air while listening to the waves crash on the nearby shore. When you're ready, hop in the private hot tub and let the warm, bubbling water melt away all your troubles!

With the beach so close, you will surely want to spend time walking on the sand, beachcombing, building sand castles, flying kites, and running with your dogs through the shallow surf. If you look north along the coast, you can see the iconic Yaquina Head Lighthouse, or you could take a refreshingly long walk about two miles south to reach Newport's Nye Beach area. Just across the street from this home is the Agate Beach Golf Course, so any golfers can go ahead and book an early-morning tee time since it will only take one minute to reach the clubhouse!

Other guests may enjoy driving to the south end of Newport and visiting the fantastic Oregon Coast Aquarium and the neighboring Hatfield Marine Science Center. Afterward, grab a coffee at a cafe, or stop at the Rogue Brewery for a refreshing drink. Newport has a huge variety of amazing restaurants to choose from, whether you hunger for the fabulous cinnamon rolls at La Maison Bakery, or some fresh clam chowder at the Chowder Bowl at Nye Beach.

Elsewhere in town you will find a cinema, lots of shopping opportunities, and miles of coastline to explore. With the ocean and Yaquina Bay accessible from the marina, crabbing, fishing, and boating area very popular activities. In the region you will also find amazing hiking and biking trails, as well as scenic ocean viewpoints all along Highway 101, so there are no shortage of ways to enjoy your visit to the area!
