Located one street away from the beach in the heart of Rockaway, you'll enjoy the conveniences of the quaint town and easy access to gorgeous scenery. Park your car in the two-car garage and begin your vacation. There is additional reserved parking in the front of the house. Have a larger group? Rent Niños Al Mar, the townhome next door. It has a duplicate floor plan.

The house has a clean appeal with plenty of space to sleep up to eight adults plus two children.

Walk in the door to the main open room, which contains a living, dining, and kitchen area. Grab a seat on the couch or in one of the recliners and enjoy a moment of peace with that book you've been meaning to read. Or light up the gas fireplace and stream a show or movie via WiFi on the large flatscreen cable TV. We offer a movie and book library for your enjoyment, as well as games for the kids and adults.

Open the large sliding doors leading to one of the decks and enjoy the ocean views and a direct view to the town’s main square known as The Wayside (one block away). Rockaway’s main square boasts year-round annual events including annual kite festival in spring, Pirates Festival, 4th of July parade and fireworks, and the Christmas tree lighting with carols and an appearance by Santa for the holidays.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make a family meal, including a dishwasher for quick clean-up. Take a seat at one of four stools at the stone countertop, or head over to the dining table with seats for six. Alternatively, you can eat out at the table on the deck on the bright cushioned patio chairs and enjoy the sea breeze and crashing surf.

The backyard is a fenced-in area where dogs can roam around. There's also a gas grill out here as well for BBQs and cooking up steak.

There are four bedrooms and two and a half baths in this three-story duplex. On the main floor you will find a room with two twin bunk beds (for a total of four) and a TV - perfect for little ones. There's also a full bath on this level with a tub/shower combo.

Upstairs there are two more bedrooms - one with a queen bed, flatscreen TV and DVD player, and the master with a king-size bed, two armchairs in front of a flatscreen cable TV and DVD player, a full private bath with soaking tub, dual sinks, and access to a balcony to take in the view with a table and chairs.

On the lower level you will find the final bedroom with a queen bed and a half bath, as well as a laundry room with washer/dryer. In total, this house will sleep eight adults, two kids, and up to two dogs (for a small nightly fee), so there's room for everyone!

A trip to the Oregon Coast calls for exploring - walk less than a block to the sandy beach and comb for sand dollars and seashells, or enjoy a stunning light show as the sun descends below the horizon. Just over a mile south is the photographic beauty of Twin Rocks that is featured on postcards, which is definitely worth a visit.

Crabbing and clamming are popular activities on the Coast, and are a great way to gather your own seafood to cook in your kitchen. Alternatively, you could go north half a mile to fish in Lake Lytle, or buy some fresh seafood at the market across the street.

Rockaway has a number of dining options, including Grumpy's Café, Offshore Grill & Coffeehouse, and Old Oregon Smokehouse. For a more upscale meal, head down the street to the Sand Dollar Restaurant & Lounge for an ocean view while you dine. There are also a variety of small shops that are nice to browse while sipping coffee.
