If you decide to venture out, within four miles of the gate you’ll find 17 wineries, a German brewery, the Wild Seed Farm, and famous Luckenbach where you can drink beer under the oak trees, western dance, and listen to the music. The main street in Fredericksburg is just eight miles away, where you’ll discover incredible shops, museums, live music, and food from barbecue to steaks to cosmopolitan dining. There's also ample wine tasting opportunities and a micro brewery. If you want to take short day trips, you can hike at Enchanted Rock State Park, visit the Bat Tunnel State Park, follow the river five miles to LBJ National Park, or visit Austin and San Antonio 70 miles away.

After a thrilling day you can enjoy the private sauna, or grab a glass of your favorite wine and relax on one of the covered patios to listen to the sounds of the river and watch the sky change colors.
