This charming two-bedroom Seaview vacation rental is in a quiet neighborhood on the Long Beach Peninsula, about a mile from the sand. Built in 1898, this historic cottage will welcome you with a toasty wood stove, lovely decor, WiFi, and a dog-friendly attitude!

Located just a mile south of Long Beach, you'll be near the dunes, and Cape Disappointment State Park is a mere three miles from your door. In the downtown area of Seaview, there are shops and cafes. Feel like a day trip? Astoria, Oregon is a scenic 18 miles south.

Along with its historic, rustic charm preserved, you will also enjoy modern amenities like high speed wireless internet, a flatscreen LCD TV with a DVD player (no cable), and a sound system for your iPod. There is a DVD rental machine at the grocery store just over a block away. Plan a movie night with bowls of freshly popped popcorn or just curl up with a good book in the comfortable white wood-paneled living room.

The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cooking supplies (including a coffee grinder and french press) and SID's Market is only a block away. And although there is no dishwasher, you can always let the pots and pans soak while head to the beach for a gorgeous sunset.

This cottage has two nicely designed bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a futon in the living room, so up to four guests can sleep comfortably here. Furry family members are also welcome with an additional nightly fee with a maximum of two dogs.

You'll have a wood stove with a glass door, electric space heaters, and plenty of blankets for chilly nights on the coast. Outside, there's a deck and a gas grill, so you can also plan a barbecue on nice, sunny days!

A nearby trail will take you to the dunes, and there's also easy street access to the beach a mile to the north or south of the cottage. Spend the day clamming, walking along the surf, or make the short drive across the Astoria-Megler Bridge for an afternoon in Oregon!

There are many other local activities to check out - museums, forts, lighthouses, trails, downtown Long Beach, fishing ports, and oyster bays. On the nights you don't feel like cooking, the award-winning Depot Restaurant is just four blocks away for Willapa Bay oysters and other local favorites.

No matter how you spend your time, this quaint and personality-filled Long Beach, Washington vacation rental is a great home base for your Washington Coast adventures!
